Pricing Information for Motoring Offences

At Astraea Legal, we believe in straight forward and transparent pricing. Our pricing information for motoring offences and what’s included is listed below:

This will include:

  • Travel time/mileage to and from the police station
  • Attendance on the interviewing officers to obtain disclosure of evidence
  • A private conference, during which we will advise you on the evidence and police station procedures, take your instructions and advise you on the law and how you should approach the interview.
  • Acting as your legal representation during the interview itself. 

This will include where appropriate:

  • Travel time/mileage/parking for court
  • Obtaining and considering the prosecution papers.
  • Advising on the prosecution papers and on the elements of the offence/s that must be proven for you to be convicted
  • Taking your instructions on the allegation
  • Advising whether you should plead guilty or if you have a defence.
  • Taking details of your personal and offence mitigation
  • Advising on the likely sentence/sentencing guidelines
  • Attending court to represent you in order to achieve the most favourable outcome in the circumstances. 

This will include where appropriate:

  • Travel time/mileage/parking for court
  • Obtaining and considering the prosecution papers.
  • Advising on the prosecution papers and on the elements of the offence/s that must be proven for you to be convicted
  • Taking your instructions on the allegation
  • Advising whether you should plead guilty or if you have a defence.
  • Taking details of your personal and offence mitigation
  • Advising on the likely sentence/sentencing guidelines
  • Advising you on the merits of an exceptional hardship argument and taking your instructions in support of the argument.
  • Attending court to make the exceptional hardship argument and to represent you at sentence.  

This will include where appropriate:

  • Travel time/mileage/parking for court
  • Obtaining and considering the prosecution papers.
  • Advising on the prosecution papers and on the elements of the offence/s that must be proven for you to be convicted
  • Taking your instructions on the allegation
  • Advising whether you should plead guilty or if you have a defence.
  • Taking details of any witnesses required
  • Advising on the likely sentence/sentencing guidelines on conviction
  • Completion of the case management form for court
  • Dealing with case management issues in court
  • Taking witness statements 
  • Instructing experts where necessary
  • Dealing with disclosure of the prosecution case 
  • Preparation of defence case statement where necessary
  • Taking your full statement
  • Consideration of full prosecution case to prepare for trial/special reasons hearing

This will include:

  • Travel time/mileage/parking for court
  • Representation at the special reasons hearing, including where appropriate, cross examination of prosecution witnesses, taking you and any witnesses through your evidence and delivering the closing speech.

This will include:

  • Travel time/mileage/parking for court
  • Representation at the special reasons hearing, including where appropriate, cross examination of prosecution witnesses, taking you and any witnesses through your evidence and delivering the closing speech.

This will include:

  • Preparation for the hearing 
  • Travel time/mileage
  • Representation at the hearing 

This will include where appropriate:

  • Advising on court procedure and the considerations that the court will have regard to
  • Obtaining your instructions and advising on the corroborating material required in support of the argument
  • Travel time/mileage/parking for court
  • Attending court to make the argument.
